Joseph Allan, MD, FACS
A graduate of Brigham Young University, Dr. Allan received his MD at the University of Nevada – Reno. He completed his residency at Oregon Health Sciences University and practiced in the Philippines with the US Air Force, returning to Salem in 1990.
John S. Donovan, MD
A graduate of Stanford University, Dr. Donovan received his MD from Washington University. He completed his residency at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Donovan is a member of the American Thyroid Association. Dr. Donovan cycles and swims for fitness. He has led medical missions to Brazil and Peru in the past with Medical Teams International and Capitol City Medical Teams.
Bruce C. Johnson, MD
A graduate of Reed College, Dr. Johnson received his MD and completed his residency at Oregon Health Sciences University.
Gary J. Nishioka, MD, DMD
Born in Hood River and reared in Salem, Dr. Nishioka graduated from dental school at OHSU and medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. He was elected to OKU and AOA, dental and medical academic honor societies, respectively. He has trained extensively completing three residencies and one fellowship at multiple university health science centers around the country. In addition to being Board Certified in Otolaryngology & Head and Neck Surgery, he is Board Certified in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Nishioka has over 60 publications, and has received a number of research awards. Military service – CDR USNR (1992-2002). He is a member of several medical organizations – AAFPRS, AAO-HNS, and AAOA (ENT Allergy).
Dr. Nishioka is also a Fellow in the American Rhinologic Society (Sinus).
Clark R. Thompson, MD
A graduate of Cornell College, Dr. Thompson received his MD from the University of Iowa. He completed his residency at Geisinger Medical Center.
Jared C. Hiebert, MD
Dr. Hiebert is a native of Salem and is excited to relocate back to the Northwest. He completed medical school at Loma Linda University and finished residency training in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Oklahoma. He practices all areas of Otolaryngology with clinical interests in Pediatrics, Sinus Surgery and Head and Neck Cancer. His wife, Rachael, is a Pediatrician in Salem and together they have 3 children with another on the way. When not practicing medicine, Dr. Hiebert enjoys spending time with his family, baking pies, fly-fishing and hiking in the Northwest.
