Diana Peterson

Au.D.

Diana enjoys working with people to help their daily communication needs in order to enhance their quality of life.  By listening to each individual’s personal needs she works with the patients to find their path to better hearing.  Diana understands that individual motivation is important to lead the patient down the path of better hearing.

Diana enjoys spending time with her husband, her two children and her two cats, as well as knitting, reading, completing jigsaw puzzles and getting outside to camp and hike. She’s a big fan of watching University of Washington football—though not as dedicated as when she attended the university.  She only missed one game during her four years at UW.

A board-certified audiologist, Mindy is passionate about providing patient-centered care with the highest level of integrity. She seeks to develop a partnership with each patient in order to offer pathways to better hearing in a supportive environment.

Mindy enjoys all outdoor activities, including running, hiking and biking. She also loves winter sports and called a ski resort near Lake Tahoe home for five years where she enjoyed skiing and snowboarding.

Shaine Martin

Shaine works to treat each patient with compassion and care, while educating them on hearing conservation and/or by providing hearing aids and assistive devices when needed. Her goal is to respect her patients’ privacy while providing excellent service that helps enhance their lives.

Shaine loves to explore the world through travel and visiting museums and galleries. Since she moved to Salem, she has a new found interest in gardening. She played varsity women’s basketball in college. She is proficient in American Sign Language, which is quite useful when working with some of our hearing impaired patients.

Gary Ferguson

Gary has struggled with his own hearing loss since childhood, allowing him to understand the benefits and positive impact of wearing hearing aids. He seeks to make a difference in people’s lives by reconnecting them to the word that they love to hear.

His experience ranges from manufacturing custom hearing aids to owning and managing his own practice. Gary interacts closely with the audiologist regarding results, recommendations and treatment plans.

  • Troubleshooting and repair of hearing aids

Most of Gary’s enjoyable spare time is spent with his wife working in their garden or fishing together. He enjoys the outdoors, including hunting and painting as a wildlife artist.
