Refer Patients to WENT
As a provider, you likely see patients with ear, nose and throat issues including: ear infections, tonsillitis, swallowing disorders, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, head and neck masses, dizziness and balance problems, nasal and sinus conditions, snoring and sleep apnea, hearing loss and allergies.
We invite you to refer your patients to us for diagnosis and treatment of the full spectrum of ENT disorders.
In order to initiate a referral, please fax or electronically send over the patient’s chart notes with the referral. We will attempt to communicate with the patient within two business days to schedule an appointment.
We support and follow collaborative agreement goals with PCP offices on the following timeframes for seeing patients:
- STAT-within 24 hours
- Urgent-within one week
- Routine- within one month
Same-day STAT appointments are made with the physician on call.
If we left a message with the patient but no appointment had been scheduled, we will follow up with a second attempt. We send a note to the referring provider if at four weeks the patient failed to schedule.
