The YMCA Camp Silver Creek Golf Tournament was a hole-in-one for the Willamette ENT team. Dr. Donovan, Mitchell Gore, Tom Chambers and Jason Beyrouty participated in the event on Monday, July 14, a fundraiser for youths attending Camp Silver Creek.
Our golf team placed fourth gross overall, finishing 11 under par. While they played their game, the rest of our team was stationed at hole 16, handing out snacks, water and some golf goodies. This hole was a blind hole, so golfers had to hit their ball over a hill without seeing where the hole was or where their ball would land!
Camp Silver Creek is in Sublimity and has been running since 1938. They host overnight camps for grades 1-10 and family camps during the summer. More information about Camp Silver Creek is available on The YMCA’s website.
We had so much fun at the golf tournament and would love to do it again next year!
