If your Willamette ENT physician has ordered diagnostic tests, outside consultation or any type of surgical procedure, our prior authorization department will contact your insurance company to verify your eligibility and perform any notification or prior authorization that may be required for those services.
In addition, if you are having any type of surgical procedure (in office, outpatient or inpatient) we will provide you with a Good Faith Estimate of your anticipated financial responsibility. This estimate is based on information we receive from you and your insurance company. Follow this link for more information on Good Faith Estimates and No Surprise Billing.
We do everything possible to ensure you will be getting the maximum benefit from your insurance policy, but it is always advisable for patients to educate themselves about their insurance company benefits and prior authorization requirements.
If you have a question about a prior authorization or new insurance information for the prior authorization department, please contact our financial counselors at 503-566-4901 or 503-485-2585. This information can also be obtained through the patient portal.
“Have always found the staff and doctors here to be helpful. This was my first visit with Dr. Prze after Dr. Allan retired, and he was very friendly, enthusiastic, and thorough. It was obvious he had read my chart carefully before my checkup.”
